Lansing Unitra is an organisation that wishes to behave transparently and appropriately within the applicable legislation in all areas. Lansing Unitra values the trust you place in us and we see it as our duty not to betray this trust.


This means that Lansing Unitra also wishes to comply with the rules with regard to visitors to its website, as well as all other activities it carries out for its customers. In particular, this concerns the rights of data subjects in relation to the automated processing of personal data. In this privacy statement, you will find the policies formulated and implemented by us regarding the processing itself, the purpose of the processing and the possibilities and rights you have as data subjects.

  • Chamber of Commerce number
  • Bank account number
  • Other personal data via in correspondence and telephone contact


Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
The only special and/or sensitive personal data we process are the Citizen Service Number (BSN) for the registration of vehicles for our customers.

2. For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Offering customised offers, quotations;
  • Handling your payment;
  • Assisting in the registration of vehicles;
  • Sending you our newsletter and/or advertising folder
  • To call or e-mail you if necessary so that we can perform our services
  • Inform you of changes to our services and products
  • To give you the opportunity to continue to be involved and informed about future services and products;
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • So that we can analyse whether we are providing an optimal website for our customers and where opportunities for improvement exist;
  • To tailor offers of products and services to your preferences;
  • We also need to process to comply with our legal obligations, such as data we need for the Tax Office, Occupational Health and Safety Act, UWV, etc;
  • Have contact with our suppliers.

3. Our website

Domain name and server, from Lansing Unitra based in Germany. Use of our website is also an expression of acceptance of our privacy statement. In other words use is an acceptance of this privacy statement.
We have an obligation to ensure the security of the website. We have given form to this by installing an SSL certificate.


We respect your privacy and that of all those who use our website. We treat this information as confidential and, unless required by law, we never share it with third parties.
We do not collect or use information for purposes other than those described in this privacy statement, unless we have obtained your prior consent.
When you register for one of our services, filling in and sending our contact or quotation form, we ask you to provide personal data. This data is used to perform the service. The data will be stored on Lansing Unitra’s own secure servers located in Vreden Germany. We will not combine this data with other personal data that we may have about you.

4. Email

When you send us an e-mail or other messages, these messages may be stored. Sometimes we will ask you for your personal data relevant to the situation at hand. This enables us to process your questions and answer your requests. The data is also stored on our own secure mail server, which is also located in Vreden Germany. We will not combine this data with other personal data in our possession.

5. How long we keep personal data

We naturally keep your personal data in consultation with you and no longer than strictly necessary to realise the purposes for which your data are collected. We use the following retention periods for the following (categories of) personal data:

  • Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process for services such as vehicle registration are deleted from our database after this service.
  • Storage of customer data in our database ( personal details, address details, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses) are retained for possible future services, unless consent is withdrawn.
  • Other personal data we receive through correspondence and telephone contact are also stored unless consent is withdrawn.
  • We retain anonymous data of device type, internet browser type and surfing behaviour to improve our website

6. Sharing personal data with third parties

We only share data that we are legally obliged to share with third parties, if this is necessary for the proper performance of the agreement and/or with your explicit consent. Where required, we have entered into a processing agreement with the parties and/or companies that process your data on our behalf. This is to ensure an equally e level of security and confidentiality of this data. We remain responsible for these processing operations.

7. Changes from Lansing Unitra

This privacy statement is aligned with the use of and current opportunities we have available to engage or interact with you and you with us. In case of adjustments and/or changes thereto, it could be possible that this privacy statement will also be amended. It is therefore advisable that you regularly consult this privacy statement.

8. Mailing

If you have signed up to receive our mailing items and/or newsletters, please note that at the bottom of each mailing you will find the option to edit your details or unsubscribe.

9. Storage of personal data

We store the data in our own managed server in Germany, Vreden. We always apply strict and up-to-date security measures.

10. Changing and deleting personal data

But of course, we also offer you the right, as required by law, to view, amend or delete the data we collect about you. Upon request, all data will be deleted.
